Patient Care Update:

Our ability to remain open is only possible because of our strict adherence to regulations set forth by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and the American Optometric Association (AOA). The health and wellness of our patients, staff and families has always been our top priority. Eyes On Main has raised its already diligent safety and infection control protocols to help contain the spread of COVID-19. Some of these changes include:

• Patients will be required to wear a face covering/mask to enter our office.

• Patients will be asked to call upon arrival and wait in their vehicle or outside until notified to come in for their appointment. This will limit patient exposure to others while in the office.

• We ask that only patients with appointments enter the office. Family members will be asked to stay in the car, unless the patient is a young child or needs assistance.

• There will be hand sanitizer available throughout our office. All patients will be asked to use the sanitizer upon arrival.

• Temperatures and COVID-19 health questions will be taken prior to being seated for your appointment. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment if either your temperature or health shows a risk of COVID-19 exposure or illness.

• Glasses repair and adjustment will be available, but patients will be screened as noted above. Please call from your car prior to entering the building. Contact lens orders will continue to be shipped directly. Curbside pick-up will also continue to be an available option.

• In order to protect you, our staff, and our families, you may notice changes in how we interact with you. A protective Plexiglas barrier is in place at the reception desk. Exams will be spaced to limit patient contact and exam rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between patients. Glasses frame selection will be done by our opticians as every frame that is tried on will be disinfected prior to placing it back on our display. Historically, our favorite part of your office visit comes from taking the time to catch up with you and your family. Due to the risks associated with this pandemic, your visit will need to be more focused and efficient. Please know that we will welcome a return to normal, but until then we will focus on providing you with the exceptional eye care you deserve in an altered setting designed with your health in mind.

Please remember, access to enter our office will be limited when you arrive, so simply knock or call (320) 352-2020 for entry.

Thank you again for your support and understanding during this challenging time.
Our community is strong, and we will continue to protect each other by doing all we can to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for your patience and stay healthy,
 Brett A Freese OD
